The Victoria Hotels & Resorts group is a subsidiary of the French public investment company E.E.M (Electricité et Eaux de Madagascar; www.eem-group.com).
At present, Victoria Hotels & Resorts has 5 hotels in Vietnam in operation: Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort & Spa (opened in March 1997), Victoria Sapa Resort & Spa (opened in March 1998), Victoria Can Tho Resort (opened in October 1998), Victoria Chau Doc Hotel (opened in November 1999) and Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa (opened in April 2001).
In addition, Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa is the 6th Victoria Hotels & Resorts property, opened in December 2003. Located in the heart of Siem Reap, Cambodia Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa is built in French colonial style; it is located only 10 minutes away from the World Heritage Angkor Temples. The 120 rooms and 10 themed suites all have the distinctive Victoria touch, designed with beautiful wooden floors, stylish furniture and original decorative artefacts combined with restaurants of Khmer inspiration.
Bypassing the over-saturated hotel market of Saigon and Hanoi, Victoria Hotels & Resorts realized Vietnam's significant potential as a travel destination. Seduced first by Vietnam's beautiful and unique scenery, they have been touched by the authenticity and cultural richness of both Vietnam and Cambodia as well as the friendliness of their people.
What makes the real success of Victoria Hotels & Resorts is a combination of two factors:
- The Warm Atmosphere :
Cosy interiors reflecting its warm local influence give guests the feeling of being at home in the most remote areas of Vietnam and Cambodia. Thus, each Victoria hotel has been designed to blend with its unique cultural and natural surroundings, mixing French colonial-style architecture with subtle touches of local handicrafts and luxury
- The Quality of Services :
More than just an international standard chain of hotels with high quality services, Victoria Hotels & Resorts offer a wide range of activities to give guests the opportunity to combine both discovery and relaxation during their travels to Vietnam and Cambodia.
