We can arrange a pick up by one of our drivers at Lao Cai train station, and visit a local ethnic tribe market, before reaching the Victoria Sapa Resort & Spa.
The Can Cau market takes place on Saturdays; it is one of the smallest local markets in the area where you can encounter Flower H'mong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay and Nung minorities.
Bac Ha is the largest and most colourful market in the area. Every Sunday morning, many different ethnic groups such as Flower H'mong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay and Nung minorities gather to buy and sell local products that cannot be found elsewhere.
The Muong Hum market takes place on Sundays and is a typical market of its kind. The trip offers you an opportunity to meet a large variety of ethnic minorities such as Ha Nhi, Phu La, Tu Di, Black Dao, Giay, Red H'mong as well as Black H'mong.
Coc Ly market is a very small market which takes place every Tuesday. You can meet several ethnic minorities from surrounding villages such as Flower H'mong, Black Zao, Phu La, Nung and Tay.
Muong Khuong market takes place on Sundays and is located in a small border town, which is frequented by Flower H'mong, Tu Di, Tay and Giay ethnic minorities. They come from surrounding villages to buy and sell local products such as food and material for agriculture and fabric.
The tiny market of Lung Khau Nhin takes place on Thursdays and is surrounded by pine tree forests and villages. Flower H'mong, Tu Di, Tay and Giay ethnic minorities come to buy and sell local products. This is one of the most untouched markets in the North.
